IEA in Wisconsin is seeking an entry-level Hem Saw Operator to operate hem saw and related cutting equipment, following prints and tolerances. You will work under supervision, ensure safety standards, and maintain productivity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of metal fabrication and cutting processes.
• Experience with Hem Saw or industrial saw preferred.
• Ability to perform basic shop math, measurements, and tolerances.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret job orders, prints, and work instructions.
• Set up hem saw equipment, adjust stops, guides, blades, and programs.
• Cut metal components to specifications; inspect finished parts.
• Maintain clean work area and perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Report equipment issues or material discrepancies to supervision.
