Responsibilities

• Assesses the physical and mental condition of patients through exams and histories.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests.
• Prescribes or recommends therapies and medications per protocols.
• Develops and implements comprehensive treatment plans with the care team.
• Counsels patients and families on medical processes, treatment plans, and medications.
• Maintains medical records and coordinates referrals when needed.
