Job summary

Vaughn-Construction in Houston, TX, is seeking a hands-on IT Administrator to configure PCs, VOIP phones, and iOS devices, and to work with vendors on device maintenance. You will respond to end user queries and assist in deploying software across the organization.

The role requires a High School Diploma with IT training, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel. You’ll contribute to procedures, documentation, and IT projects while promoting teamwork and core company values.

• Must have a clean and valid Driver’s License and a personal vehicle
• Position may involve occasional travel, mostly driving

Responsibilities

• Responds to user queries and technical support issues.
• Performs setup and configuration of PCs.
• Deploys desktop software including anti-virus, office productivity applications, enterprise applications, etc.
• Configures and troubleshoots VOIP phones with vendor support.
• Configures and troubleshoots iOS devices with vendor support.
• Troubleshoots and arranges repairs of PCs with vendor support.
• Assists in creation and updating of procedures and documentation
• Administers employee termination IT Administrator.
• Promotes teamwork and positive communication among employees.
• Assists in researching and implementing new software/hardware initiatives in the company.
• Performs other duties and services to ensure a successful functioning of information systems.
• Promotes Core Values of the Company and maintains excellent attendance and punctuality.

Position Overview

Configures PCs, VOIP phones, iOS devices, network devices. Works with vendors to maintain the devices. Responds to end user queries.

• Ability to deal with vendors and push open items to completion


• Exposure to Audio-Visual systems is a plus
