DESCRIPTION:

TheHelp DeskTech will support Northern Waters Casino systems, services and users. Candidates would focus on solving moderate toadvanced computer problems in a Microsoft Windows environment (Windows11, Office 365). This position would require one to workindependently, with little supervision. Candidate must be friendly, energeticand a good listener to perform customer service duties.

Primary Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide excellent service to guests,internal and external, through active guest engagement and positiveattitude.
• This position is for a variableschedule full-time position. Nights andweekends are required. Candidates willbe part of the on-call rotation.
• Supports the IT Service Help deskfunctions.
• Installs,deploys and troubleshootshardware and software
• To remain in compliance with CasinoRegulatory policies and procedures, employees are required to attend allnecessary meetings and training facilitated by Management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellentoral and written skills as candidate will be required to submit written jobreports\tickets describing the work performed.
• Other duties as assigned by the ITDirector
• Must pass background checks andother pre-employment screenings necessary to receive and maintain a GamingLicense.
• Candidate is requiredto read, implement, and adhere to all NWCR Policies and
• Procedures, LVD Gaming Ordinance, Tribal/StateGaming Compact, NIGC Minimum
• Internal Control Standards, Indian GamingRegulatory Act, LVD Tribal Internal Control Standards, Title 31 MinimumInternal Control Standards, NWCR Casino Employee Handbook, IT Department Policyand Procedures Manual.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2- or 4-year degree incomputer-related field or 3 years of experience.
• Experience in computer networkingand deploying a Category 5/5e/6-based ether net (including running cable andterminating ends) is preferred.
• Experience with a help deskticketing system
• Experience with a Microsoft Windowsenvironment (Windows 11, Office 365)
