Help Desk Specialist - Information Technology (IT)

Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Help Desk Specialist provides prompt support and resolves issues for the firm's lawyers and staff. Responsibilities include handling calls, emails, and voicemails; troubleshooting incidents; fulfilling service requests; and escalating issues as needed. Documentation of problem-solving measures may be required. Training will be provided.

Work hours are 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM, Sunday – Thursday. This is a remote position with potential for a hybrid schedule. Candidates must be near Cleveland, OH.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proximity to northeast Ohio.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer technologies preferred.
  • Experience in help desk or IT support roles preferred.
  • Ability to handle responsibilities, preferably in a legal setting.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, and Windows 7/10 preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to listen, collaborate with lawyers and staff, document issues, and communicate clearly.
  • Aptitude for learning new software and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
