Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Site Supervisor for the Liberal Helium Facility in Liberal, KS. This frontline leadership role oversees operations and maintenance, coordinating with logistics, maintenance, and engineering to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Process Technology, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
• Experience supervising operations, maintenance teams in industrial environments.
• Cryogenic/gas processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote a strong safety culture across operations and maintenance teams.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to staff.
• Oversee operations of two Helium Plants and Air Separation Unit.
• Coordinate daily activities to ensure reliable production and timely deliveries.
• Drive continuous improvement projects for productivity, reliability, and cost reduction.
• Lead MOC activities and interface with cross-functional teams.
• Provide on-call support in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
