Job summary

Med-Trans in Arizona is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation for our customers. You will work with a team of medical experts to safely transport patients and maintain aircraft readiness and regulatory compliance for each flight.

Minimum requirements include a current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, rotorcraft instrument rating, a Class II medical, and substantial flight hours. We offer a 7/7 schedule, on-duty housing, and sign-on plus retention bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients with a medical team to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness and comply with FAR and Med-Trans requirements.
• Maintain Med-Trans documentation and records.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information per protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Job description

We're hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to Med-Trans customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

Compensation and Incentives

• $94,084 - $103,493 including 6% Geographic Modifier
• 15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility
• Retention Bonus Plans ($40,000 after 3 years, plus additional retention bonuses once completed)
• On Duty Housing
• 7/7 Schedule

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Preferred Qualifications

• AS350 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
