Job summary

Med-Trans seeks a skilled Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation for Med-Trans customers. You will join a team focused on safety, aircraft readiness, and regulatory compliance while delivering urgent care in the sky.

Qualifications include a FAA rotorcraft commercial certificate, instrument rating, Class II medical, and significant helicopter hours. On-duty housing and a 7/7 schedule accompany a competitive salary and sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

  • Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate required.
  • Helicopter instrument rating required.
  • Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
  • 2,000 total flight hours, 1,500 helicopter hours, 1,000 helicopter PIC hours.
  • 1,000 turbine helicopter hours and 200 night hours preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Transport customers with a team of medical experts by helicopter.
  • Ensure aircraft readiness per manuals, FAR and Med-Trans requirements.
  • Maintain Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and records.
  • Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
  • Provide shift-change info per Med-Trans change board protocol.
  • Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Salary Range: $88,759 - $97,635
15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility
Retention Bonus plans ($40,000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses once completed)
On Duty Housing

Responsibilities
  • Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
  • Ensure aircraft readiness as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
  • Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
  • Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
  • Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training
MinimumRequirements
  • Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
  • Helicopter instrument rating
  • Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
