Job summary

Global Medical Response's Med-Trans unit seeks a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transport services. You will join a team of medical experts to move patients safely to and from locations and facilities, and you will ensure aircraft readiness and regulatory compliance.

The role offers a full-time schedule (7/7), a $15,000 sign-on bonus subject to eligibility, retention bonus plans, and a competitive salary range. Safety remains a core pillar of our services.

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches and comply with FAR and Med-Trans requirements and aircraft cleanliness duties.
• Maintain Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record-keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information to successive pilot and team following change-board protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

MinimumRequirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)

Preferred Qualifications

• B407 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
