Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Helicopter Pilot for Med-Trans operations. This full-time role requires extensive rotorcraft flight experience and current FAA certifications to transport patients safely.

You will work with medical teams to ensure aircraft readiness, maintain records, and coordinate with dispatch and facilities. Strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, helicopter instrument rating, and FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• Total flight hours: 2,000; 1,500 helicopter hours; 1,000 helicopter PIC hours; 1,000 turbine helicopter hours.
• Night flight hours: 200 (aided or unaided).
• Preferred: B407 aircraft experience; HS diploma or higher.

Responsibilities

• Transport customers with medical crews; ensure aircraft readiness per manuals and FAR/Med-Trans requirements.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, and facilities; hand off shift change details.

We’re hiring aHelicopter Pilotto provide medical air transportation services to Med-Trans customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
