Job summary

Global Medical Response seeks a Helicopter Pilot for medical air transport services. This full-time role requires a rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, instrument rating, and substantial flight hours.

The team will operate with a 7/7 schedule and include sign-on and IFR stipends as part of incentives. Responsibilities include safe patient transport with medical teams, ensuring aircraft readiness, maintaining records, and coordinating with dispatch and partners.

Qualifications

  • Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
  • Helicopter instrument rating.
  • Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
  • 2,000 Total Flight Hours.
  • 1,500 Helicopter Hours.
  • 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours.
  • 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
  • 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided).
  • 200 Helicopter Instrument Hours (Actual/Hood/SIM) 50 Hours Actual WX in Aircraft.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport customers with a medical team to and from locations.
  • Ensure aircraft readiness and compliance with FAR and Med-Trans requirements.
  • Maintain Med-Trans and regulatory documentation.
  • Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
  • Record Med-Trans change board details during shift changes.
  • Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

  • Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
  • Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Med-Trans requirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
  • MaintainaccurateMed-Trans and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
  • Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
  • Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingMed-Trans change boarddetails
  • Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training
