Blue Hawaiian Helicopters is seeking a Mechanic Helper to assist A&P mechanics with aircraft maintenance and shop tasks. The role involves supporting daily maintenance, updating logs, and helping with scheduled and unscheduled work in a busy hangar environment.
The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read and write English. Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED and some related experience; additional FAA-related knowledge is a plus.
The Mechanic Helper reports to the Maintenance Manager and the Director of Maintenance. Assist A&P Mechanics with aircraft and shop maintenance.
The classification of this position is broad and assigned specific functional areas; duties and assignments may overlap depending on the operational needs of the department.
Subject to applicable laws and Blue Hawaiian Helicopters policies, regular attendance is an essential function of the position. All employees must follow Blue Hawaiian Helicopters employment practices and policies.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
