Job summary

Blue Hawaiian Helicopters is seeking a Mechanic Helper to assist A&P mechanics with aircraft maintenance and shop tasks. The role involves supporting daily maintenance, updating logs, and helping with scheduled and unscheduled work in a busy hangar environment.

The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read and write English. Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED and some related experience; additional FAA-related knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; 1-3 years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Experience in aircraft maintenance environment preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities; able to read/write English and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hangar and shop areas and equipment.
• Assist A&P Mechanics with daily, unscheduled, preventive, and scheduled maintenance.
• Support maintenance staff and line service as needed.
• Update daily logs and computer records as required.
• Perform tasks assigned by Maintenance Supervisor/Manager and Director of Maintenance.
