Job summary

Blue Hawaiian Helicopters in Hawaii seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to perform maintenance on aircraft and powerplants in accordance with FAA and company standards. The role is based in Hawaii with potential travel to other bases as needed.

The AMT will troubleshoot systems, sign off on tasks, and ensure records are accurately maintained, with emphasis on safety, regulatory compliance, and quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–3 years related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Manufacturer and company training on specified helicopter models is a plus.
• Experience in aviation maintenance and FAA regulatory compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on aircraft/powerplant as qualified, including scheduled/unscheduled tasks.
• Troubleshoot airframe, engine, and electrical systems; replace components as needed.
• Ensure safety and compliance with FAA regulations and company policies.
• Document work in maintenance records accurately and timely.
