Compensation and Benefits
  • Starting Salary: $75,246 - $109,746 annually DOE (including 20% geo-modifier)
  • IA stipend: $2,080
  • Area Mechanic Stipend: $4,000
  • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
About the Role

We’re hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Reach Air Medical Services. This technician will be qualified to support our EC135 airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care, and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs, and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
  • Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary, and document part expenditures.
  • Document service paperwork and FAA information as required, adhering to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
  • Use appropriate communication methods to facilitate coordination between departments, vendors, and team members.
  • Collaborate professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel, fellow AMTs, and the operations team.
Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Three (3) years FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificated experience
  • Three (3) years turbine-powered helicopter experience
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Experience with EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records, and support and planning
  • Compliance with FAA drug and alcohol testing program
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing 10-50 pounds
  • Ability to lift/move up to 150 pounds with assistance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience under CFR Parts 133, 135, and 145
  • Avionics and electrical repair experience
  • FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
