Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT)

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! Helicopter Mechanic FULL-TIME Opportunity in Lakeport, CA

• Starting Salary: $75,246-$109,746 annually DOE (including 20% geo-modifier)
• IA Stipend: $2,080
• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

We’re hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Reach Air Medical Services. This technician will be qualified to support our AS350 airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely, high-quality transportation services, care, and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs, and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician or Regional Maintenance Manager.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary, and document part expenditures.
• Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required, and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Use appropriate communication methods to facilitate coordination between departments, vendors, and team members.
• Work collaboratively and professionally with all healthcare and public safety personnel, fellow AMTs, and operations team.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Three (3) years FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificated experience
• Three (3) years turbine-powered helicopter experience
• Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
• Experience with aircraft maintenance systems, records, and planning
• Must pass FAA drug and alcohol testing
• Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing 10-50 pounds
• Ability to lift/move up to 150 pounds with assistance

Preferred Qualifications

• AS350 maintenance experience
• Experience under CFR Parts 133, 135, and 145
• Autopilot maintenance experience
• Avionics and electrical repair experience
• FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
