Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) IMMEDIATELY HIRING! Helicopter Mechanic FULL-TIME Opportunity in Alamosa, CO

Starting Salary : $68,975.50 – $100,600.50 annually DOE (including 10% geo-modifier)

IA stipend, $2,080 Sign-On Bonus, and Projected Close Date: July 11, 2025

We’re hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Reach Air Medical Services. This technician will be qualified to support our AS350 airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care, and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs, and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
  2. Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary, and document part expenditures.
  3. Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
  4. Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
  5. Use appropriate communication methods to facilitate coordination between departments, vendors, and team members.
  6. Work collaboratively and professionally with all allied health, public safety personnel, fellow AMTs, and the operations team.
Minimum Required Qualifications
  1. Three (3) years FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificated experience.
  2. Three (3) years turbine-powered helicopter experience.
  3. Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records, and maintenance support and planning.
  4. Acceptance in accordance with FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
  5. Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing from 10-50 pounds; able to move up to 150 pounds with assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate.
  2. Related experience under CFR Parts 133, 135, and 145.
  3. Avionics and electrical repair experience.
  4. AS350 maintenance experience.
