Job summary

Redding Air Service is seeking full-time A&P mechanics at our Northern California base in Redding, CA, to support a fleet of helicopters including B407, B407HP, B407GXi, B429, B205, B212 and UH-60 series.

Field/Base Mechanics perform detailed inspections, servicing, preventative maintenance, and repairs/alterations, with a benefits package including medical/dental/vision, Simple IRA, PTO and holiday pay. Emphasis on safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P).
• 2 years minimum as a licensed mechanic on 407/205/212, or 1 year licensed with Bell Factory Course.
• Must be Cardable - Previous USFS/OAS Carding Preferred.
• Knowledge of FAR's- 91, 133, 135 and 145 is preferred.
• Knowledge, experience and prior training on B407, B205, B212, H-60 series is preferred.
• Commercial Drivers License with HAZMAT/TANK Endorsements preferred or willing to obtain HAZMAT/TANK commercial license.
• Ability to work independently and tolerate high stress levels while maintaining professionalism.
• Pre-employment drug screening and random drug screens required.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain relationships with peers, customers.

• Perform servicing, preventative maintenance, minor and major repairs and/or alterations.

Our A&P Field/Base Mechanics perform a variety of helicopter maintenance functions including, but not limited to, detailed scheduled/unscheduled inspections, servicing, preventative maintenance, minor and major repairs and/or alterations.

Requirements

All Candidates interested in joining the Redding Air Service team as a 407/205/212 Field Mechanic, will need to possess the following;
