Job summary

Brothers Air Support in Vacaville, CA is seeking motivated UH-60 A&P mechanics to join our TEAM, supporting aerial firefighting operations while working for a dynamic small aviation company.

FAA & Powerplant rating required; meet one of several maintenance-experience criteria; be able to work in a team, maintain accurate FAA-compliant docs, and handle overtime. Schedule is 14 on/14 off with two travel days paid. We offer training and mentorship from seasoned mechanics.

Qualifications

  • FAA and Powerplant rating with recent maintenance activity.
  • Experience meeting the listed service and time requirements.
  • Ability to work in field conditions on UH-60.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a team environment meeting safety and standards.
  • Perform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance to include servicing and inspections on UH-60 in field conditions.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation per FAA regulations.
  • Keep work area organized and clean.
  • Work overtime as schedules dictate.

Description

Brother's Air Support is seeking motivated UH-60 A&P mechanics to join our TEAM. This is a great opportunity to develop or refine your field skills during aerial firefighting operations while working for a dynamic and progressive small aviation company.

FAA & Powerplant rating and meet one of the following: held for at least 12 months and been actively engaged in aircraft maintenance for at least 6 months out of the last 12 months; or held A&P rating for at least 3 months and show evidence of 2 years military experience of aircraft maintenance training & qualification as a TI for Airframe or Powerplants; or satisfactorily completed a USFS or DOI- accepted Contractor's training program and show evidence the mechanic has 30-months maintenance experience on the UH-60.

Mechanic:

FAA & Powerplant rating, been actively engaged in aircraft maintenance for at least 18 months out of the 24 months and meet one of the following: FAA A&P for a period of 24 months; or held a FAA A&P cert. for a period of 12 months and show evidence of 4 years military experience of aircraft maintenance training & qualification as a TI for Airframe or Powerplants; or held the certificate for a period of 12 months and shall have satisfactorily completed a USFS or DOI-accepted Contractor's training program and show evidence the mechanic has 12 months maintenance experience on UH-60.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Ability to work in a Team environment while ensuring all work meets customer, safety and operational standards.
  • Perform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance to include servicing and inspections in a field condition using approved data on UH 60.
  • Knowledge of FAA/CFR regulations a plus.
  • Complete accurate maintenance documentation per FAA regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
  • Must be able to work overtime as maintenance and schedules dictate.
