Job summary

HELIUS LLC in Oakdale, California, seeks talented helicopter mechanics to maintain Bell 407 helicopters conducting power line patrol, construction, and repair. Local full-time, 14/14 rotations; housing provided on hitch with full kitchen and company vehicles.

Responsibilities include pre/post flight inspections, routine and non-routine maintenance, on-call availability, and FARs documentation. FAA A&P certification required; IA preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older and possess a valid state driver;s license.
• FAA Mechanics Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant Ratings.
• IA preferred but not required.
• Personal flexibility regarding schedules and travel.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work extended periods safely on ladders and other elevated positions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre- and post-flight inspections on all scheduled and standby aircraft.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and inspections as required.
• Remain on-call while aircraft are working.
• Ensure all company aircraft, tools, equipment, vehicles and facilities are clean and in working order.
• Perform and document all maintenance per applicable FARs and company forms.
• Hold a valid Class A commercial driver; s license; hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred but not required.

Job Summary

HELIUS, LLC, based out of Oakdale, California is looking for talented, qualified, and motivated helicopter mechanics to maintain and support our fleet of Bell 407 helicopters conducting power line patrol, construction, and repair throughout the central and northern California. Local full-time Monday through Friday or Standard rotations are 2 weeks on/ 2 weeks off. Flexibility in rotations is available to those who wish to earn additional income.

Primary Work Location:

• Oakdale, CA. Ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate (relocation stipend offered to offset relocation costs)

Work rotation:

• 14/14 depending on contract/staffing requirements

Primary duties and responsibilities include:
