Job summary

Safari Helicopters in Hilo, Hawaii, seeks an FAA-licensed Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic for our base. The role involves evening work, inspections, maintenance, and flight support, with a relocation option. We require an FAA A&P and 2+ years in aircraft maintenance, with preference for Airbus AS350/EC130 experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Experience on Airbus AS350 or EC130 preferred.
• FAA mechanic certificate with A&P rating.
• Proficiency with PC and web-based applications.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work extended periods on ladders/scaffolds.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or have work authorization; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic inspections and maintenance.
• Complete required logbook entries and return-to-service documentation.
• General helicopter upkeep and corrosion control.
• Accompany check flights after significant maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned by the director of maintenance.
