Job summary

REACH Air Medical Services in Redding, CA is seeking an Area Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to maintain EC130 and AS350 airframes and ensure safe, timely transport services. This full-time role requires three years of turbine helicopter experience, an A&P license, and the ability to work flexible overtime and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years turbine powered helicopter experience.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Valid State issued Driver's license.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
• EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with information security standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Communicate to coordinate efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and your AMTs/operations team.
