Job summary

Reach Air Medical Services is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to maintain and ensure the safety of our helicopter fleet. The AMT will support EC135, EC145, H130, H125 and B200 airframes and work to deliver timely, high-quality patient transport services.

The role requires 3 years turbine helicopter experience, an A&P license, FAA knowledge, and the ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations. On-site at McClellan, CA in the Reach/GMR family.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years turbine powered helicopter experience.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Valid State driver's license.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
• EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records and planning knowledge.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Must be acceptable under FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Must lift/push 100+ lbs and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, repairs and document statuses.
• Manage inventory checks; update equipment tracking; process replacement requests and document expenditures.
• Document FAA information and follow policies while complying with information security standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment for aircraft maintenance and flight crew.
• Communicate effectively to coordinate across departments, vendors and team members.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and operations teams.
