Job summary

REACH Air Medical Services is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) in Gilroy, CA. The AMT will maintain EC135 airframe, ensure safety, and support timely patient transport services with a focus on quality care and compliance.

Qualifications include a turbine-powered helicopter background, an A&P license, and knowledge of FAA regulations. This is a full-time position requiring flexible hours, good physical ability, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Three years turbine powered helicopter experience.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Valid state driver's license.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
• EMS maintenance systems, records and planning knowledge.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including overtime and 24/6 on-call rotations.
• Must be acceptable under FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Able to lift/pull 100+ lbs.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including inspections, repairs, and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks, update equipment tracking, and document part expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information; adhere to policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Coordinate across departments, vendors and team members for optimized operations.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and operations team.
