Job summary

Desert Oasis Healthcare seeks a licensed vocational nurse to support HEDIS and CMS Star measures as part of the Quality Programs team. You will review medical records, perform data abstraction, and help ensure accuracy for quality reporting.

You will engage with physicians and staff, prepare reports, and drive improvements across provider sites. Ability to travel up to 25% is required; on-site work in California is expected.

Qualifications

• Current California LVN license.

Responsibilities

• Engages physicians and office staff to discuss HEDIS Part C Part D measures.
• Performs medical record reviews, abstraction and data-entry for HEDIS to close GAPs in care.
• Prepares reports and presentations outlining progress findings and recommendations for management.
• Conducts monthly reviews in a timely manner per guidelines.
• Tracks compliance issues and trend data; distributes reports to providers and teams.
• Stays informed about HEDIS/STAR requirements and updates.
• Submits and bills findings to external stakeholders within deadlines.
• Presents tracking summaries to identify areas for improvement monthly or as requested.
• 25% travel to Victor Valley surrounding cities.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
