Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an Entry Level Health Records Associate to support Health Care Informatics Quality Initiatives. The role involves collecting medical records by phone, fax, and mail and working with record reviewers on HEDIS pursuits.

Location is fully remote with preference for candidates in CA, TX, NV, or AZ. The position offers pay at $20/hr and benefits; contract role with standard eligibility requirements.

Description

Provide support to Health Care Informatics Quality Initiatives, regarding the HEDIS medical record pursuit project.

Collect patient records from medical facilities and provider offices by phone, fax, and mail.

Work closely with record reviewers to assess completeness of medical records received and conduct additional pursuits as necessary.

Accurately file, maintain, and track medical records.

Perform data entry and other project related tasks as assigned.

Maintain confidence and protect operational activities by keeping information confidential.

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma, or equivalent

Proficient data entry and computer skills, including MS Excel, Outlook, and internet usage.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
