Job summary

Wall Street Careers® represents a New York-based hedge fund seeking an Operations Associate to support the full middle- and back-office lifecycle across bank debt, liquid credit, and equities. You will work directly with senior finance leadership and trading, fund administration, and prime brokerage counterparts.

The role emphasizes hands-on processing, daily reconciliations, P&L monitoring, cash management, and precise interest/valuation calculations, with a lean team and daily market hours

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of middle-office, trade support, or fund operations experience at a hedge fund or alternative asset manager.
• Working knowledge of bank debt / loan mechanics; exposure to public equities is a plus.
• Prior hands‑on experience with Enfusion and/or HedgeServ is a plus, but not required.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal is helpful.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for large reconciliations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Trade capture and lifecycle management for bank debt, loans, liquid credit, and equity trades.
• Daily reconciliations across Enfusion, HedgeServ, prime brokers, and custodians.
• P&L and performance monitoring using Enfusion and Bloomberg; investigate discrepancies.
• Treasury and cash management including cash forecasting, margin movements, and FX exposure.
• Interest accruals and valuation calculations for credit-related items.
• Systems and reporting; build proficiency in Enfusion and HedgeServ; enhance month-end close with Excel.
