Job summary

Long Ridge Partners is seeking a research-focused analyst to support long/short equity investments in New York. You will perform financial statement analysis, industry research, and due diligence to refine investment theses and monitor positions.

In this role you will help develop and implement equity investing ideas, prepare investment recommendations, and present updates to the team as market views evolve.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of total work experience in a complex finance role, preferably in investment banking, equity research or private equity.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, economics or mathematics.
• Experience in conducting research and due diligence, and producing client-ready investment materials.

Responsibilities

• The position will focus on performing research and analysis on potential Long/Short equity investing opportunities, monitoring existing positions, and assisting in the overall management of the hedge fund's strategy.

Responsibilities

The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team that includes financial statement analysis, industry research, and company-specific due diligence.

Qualifications

• Strong quantitative aptitude with a high attention to detail
