We are currently working with a leading credit hedge fund that is looking to expand their investment team. They are looking for a dynamic investment professional with experience covering liquid credit. The fund takes a fundamental approach investing across the capital structure, specializing in stressed and distressed investments with a primary focus on liquid credit across North America.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct deep dive fundamental analysis of corporate credit across North America.
• Provide long/short trade recommendations based on your analysis.
• Ability to analyze the wider macro environment and provide potential hedging opportunities.
• Work alongside the investment team monitoring the book and provide up to date analysis on your recommendations.

Candidate Profile:

• 6+ years of experience covering liquid credit across North America; the ideal candidate will have completed several years at a Bulge Bracket Bank and have already made the transition to the buy side.
• Experience investing across the capital structure, covering HY, stressed, and distressed credit.
• Entrepreneurial individual who can put together their own trade ideas.
• Track record of generating positive returns through various economic cycles.
• Exposure to European markets is a benefit.
