Job summary

IQ-EQ in Massachusetts seeks a senior accounting professional to manage client relationships and oversee fund accounting duties, ensuring accuracy across daily, monthly, and annual reporting.

You will train fund accountants, prepare financial statements, and coordinate with auditors and tax advisors to support year-end audits and timely tax reporting. A hybrid work schedule is offered with compensation based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 4+ years of client-facing accounting experience.
• Strong analytical thinking, curiosity, and research skills to identify issues and deliver solutions.
• Professional communication, verbal and written, with clients and teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; organized with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work proactively as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships independently, ensuring service quality across all deliverables.
• Train and allocate tasks to fund accountants, overseeing daily, monthly, and annual duties.
• Prepare financial statements and maintain books for complex client operations.
• Oversee valuations and reconciliations, analyze investment activity for reporting deadlines.
• Collaborate with auditors and tax advisors, supporting year-end audits and tax returns.
