Job summary

IQ-EQ in Fort Worth, TX, seeks a Fund Accounting Specialist to review NAV packages, update records, and manage accruals. You will calculate fees, review valuations, and ensure accuracy across client records and custodians.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance/Economics with 4+ years in financial services, hedge funds, or middle office. Proficient in Excel and Enfusion/Geneva; hybrid work and strong benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; 4+ years in financial services, hedge funds, fund accounting, or middle office operations.
Strong knowledge of equities, fixed income, options, swaps, futures, FX across global markets.
Excellent attention to detail, multitasking, and accounting/analytical skills.
Effective written and verbal communication; ability to build client relationships.
Proficient in advanced Excel; experience with Enfusion and Geneva.

Responsibilities

Review monthly NAV packages, update fund accounting records, and maintain accrual schedules.
Calculate management and performance fees; review monthly valuation reports with third-party firms.
Process, record, and reconcile performance reporting, contributions, distributions, actions, and payments.
Prepare and manage reconciliations of positions, trades, cash, market values, and accruals; ensure accuracy between client records and custodians.
Collaborate with clients, prime brokers, and internal teams to resolve trade breaks and support ad hoc requests.
