Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking a Fund Accountant to manage client relationships and oversee daily to annual fund accounting activities. You will train staff, ensure accurate reporting, and support audits across complex client operations.

The role requires 4+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, and strong analytical and communication skills. A hybrid work model is available with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 4+ years of relevant client-facing experience.
• Strong analytical thinking, curiosity, and research skills to identify issues and solve problems.
• Clear verbal and written communication while building positive client and team relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and exceptional organization, attention to detail, and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships independently, ensuring service quality and satisfaction across all deliverables.
• Train and allocate tasks to fund accountants, overseeing daily, monthly, and annual responsibilities.
• Prepare financial statements and maintain books for clients with complex operations to ensure accurate reporting.
• Oversee valuations and reconciliations, analyzing investment activity to meet deadlines for investor and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with auditors and tax advisors, validating accounts and supporting year-end audits and tax returns.
