Hebrew Public’s Staten Island Hebrew Public is seeking a driven Hebrew Teacher to deliver engaging, standards-based instruction and monitor student progress, collaborating with colleagues to refine teaching practices. You will conduct immersive Hebrew lessons, communicate with students in Hebrew, and design weekly lessons aligned with proficiency-based curriculum.

Qualified candidates hold a BA, NY certification or are pursuing it, with K-12 lead teaching experience; the network offers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required; Master’s degree is a plus.
• K-12 lead teaching experience in a classroom setting is a plus.
• Hold NY teacher certification or working toward certification.
• Experience in urban, public charter, or Title I schools is a plus.
• Good communication skills in English and native or near-native level of Hebrew.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, standards-based Hebrew instruction and monitor student progress.
