Job summary

Graybar Electric Company, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Warehouse Material Handler in Charlotte, NC. You will receive, store, select, pack and ship inventory, using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and operating large machinery as needed.

Typical duties include cutting wire, loading, measuring, packaging, and preparing orders for shipment while maintaining safety and cleanliness in the work area. Shift: Mon-Fri, 10:00am-7:00pm, with a $21.50/hour base pay plus a $3.00 differential.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform the physical requirements including lifting up to 70 pounds.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Operate warehouse equipment safely (forklifts, pallet jacks, push carts).

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, select, pack and ship warehouse inventory.
• Cut wire and cable with machines and ensure accuracy of cuts.
• Maintain orderly, clean warehouse and perform safety inspections.
• Process UPS and non-UPS orders using WMS; package for transport.
• Conduct cycle counts and reconcile stock discrepancies.
