Job summary

Graybar Electric Company is seeking a Heavy Warehouse Material Handler in Charlotte, NC. You will receive, store, select, pack, and ship inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS). The role runs Monday–Friday, 10:00am–7:00pm, with a pay rate of $21.50 per hour ($18.50 base + $3.00 differential).

Steel-toed boots are required. Responsibilities include operating pallet jacks and forklifts, performing cycle counts, and preparing orders for transport while maintaining safety and cleanliness

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and move materials weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment per safety guidance.
• Work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.
• Follow Warehouse Management System (WMS) procedures for receiving, storing and shipping.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, select, pack, and ship warehouse inventory.
• Cut wire and cable with machines; ensure accuracy of cuts.
• Load, measure, cut, spool, and bundle wires and cables per job orders.
• Fill product orders according to type, length and size requested by customer.
• Receive incoming material per WMS and prepare for storage.
• Select, pack and palletize replenishment shipments per WMS.
• Handle cross-dock shipments and LTL as per procedures.
• Conduct cycle counts and verify bin locations.
