Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Heavy Warehouse Material Handler to ensure products are received, stored, selected, packed, and shipped efficiently. You will utilize a Warehouse Management System, operate forklifts and large equipment, and maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment while meeting carrier pickup schedules.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 70 pounds, and adherence to PPE and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical requirements: lift/move inventory, stand/walk, bend/twist, climb ladders, and work in varying temperatures.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS) and operating warehouse equipment safely.
• Steel-toed boots required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, select, pack, and ship warehouse inventory using WMS.
• Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment and large machinery per instructions.
• Cut wire and cable with machines and prepare for orders.
• Fill product orders according to type/length/size requested by customer.
• Receive incoming material and break down for storage, noting discrepancies.
