Job summary

GTG Training offers the Renault Trucks Heavy Vehicle Apprenticeship Programme in Enfield. You will train as a Heavy Vehicle Apprentice Technician (HGV), earning while you learn and gaining hands-on experience from day one in a busy workshop.

You will achieve a Level 3 IMI Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification, with residential blocks covered and mentor support. The programme leads to full-time employment and clear progression within the GTG Training network.

Qualifications

• Passion for vehicles and engineering, with an interest in practical trades.
• Willingness to learn and develop hands-on skills in a workshop environment.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain heavy vehicles as part of a team.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections and work with EV tech.
• Adhere to workshop safety and quality standards.
