Job summary

Linde Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Heavy Truck and Tank Trailer Mechanic to inspect and maintain commercial vehicles. You will assess mechanical systems, safety features, and overall condition to keep assets roadworthy.

You will diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, suspensions, braking, and electrical components using structured troubleshooting. You will perform timely repairs on tires, brakes, fuel and hydraulic systems, and HVAC, with rigorous safety practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of commercial vehicle maintenance experience.
• Experience across engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, suspensions and braking.
• ASE certifications or equivalent expertise with ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical systems, safety features and overall vehicle condition to keep assets roadworthy.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, suspensions, braking and electrical components using structured troubleshooting.
• Perform timely repairs on tires, brakes, bearings, fuel systems, hydraulics and HVAC to reduce downtime.
• Execute preventative maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks and lubrication.
• Test vehicle systems after repair to ensure functionality and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate service logs, repair records and inspection documentation; communicate repair recommendations and schedule warranty work.
