Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in medium or heavy truck repair.
• VA State Inspector's certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Valid Class A or B CDL or willingness to obtain one.
• Paccar, Cummins, and CAT certifications or willingness to obtain.
• Motivation and self-reliance; teamwork mindset.
• Ability to operate tools safely; good organization and communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent; English literacy.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders from Shop Foreman.
• Perform work promptly with high workmanship standards.
• Advise Shop Foreman of recommended changes in services.
• Determine further repairs and communicate to Shop Foreman.
• Maintain records of work performed and time clocked.
• Attend training sessions as required by the Service Manager.
• Complete additional repairs if caused by faulty workmanship.
• Maintain familiarity with equipment and servicing techniques.
