Job summary

Alamo Group in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin is seeking Snow Equipment Installers/Assemblers to build, install and calibrate heavy snow-removal equipment. You will interpret prints, wire and test hydraulic systems, and use crane-assisted assembly tools on site.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in mobile equipment work, basic math skills, and the ability to read schematics. The role requires overtime as production dictates and offers competitive pay with solid benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years of mobile equipment installation/repair experience.
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics and assembly instructions.
• Basic math skills required.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Willing to work overtime as production schedule dictates.

Responsibilities

• Set up the assembly job by locating parts and gathering materials according to the work order.
• Assemble, install, remove, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic mobile equipment components.
• Install programs and navigate through and change settings (Codesys, J1939).
• Calibrate flow and pressure devices; hydraulic and pneumatic.
• Diagnose hydraulic component issues and troubleshoot system problems.
• Align and assemble components using hand tools and cranes.
• Test units with hydraulic gauges and inspect pre/post operations.
• May transport vehicles safely as needed.
