Job summary

Alamo Group is seeking Snow Equipment Installers/Assemblers in Fond du Lac, WI. You will build, assemble, install, and fit snow removal equipment, calibrate hydraulic components, and test units for proper operation.

The role requires two years of mobile equipment experience, ability to read schematics, use measuring devices, and perform adjustments with hand and power tools. Overtime may be required in a metal production environment.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum two years of experience in mobile equipment installations, repair and maintenance.
• Experience in engine diagnostics and knowledge of drivetrain, driveline and diesel engines.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; technical training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and fit snow removal equipment components.
• Set up jobs by locating parts and gathering materials.
• Inspect and troubleshoot hydraulic systems and diagnose issues.
• Calibrate flow and pressure devices; test units for leaks/pressure.
• Operate overhead cranes and hand tools; use torque wrenches.
• Document pre/post inspections and safety checks.
