Job summary

Reeder Chevrolet is seeking a Service Technician to perform diagnostics, repairs and routine maintenance across various vehicle makes and models. You will work closely with the Service Advisor to inform customers and provide accurate time and parts estimates.

The ideal candidate has prior service experience, strong hand-eye coordination, and excellent communication skills. ASE certification is a plus, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Technician or similar role is required.
• ASE Certification preferred but not required.
• Dexterity and steady hand-eye coordination.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Team player with ability to collaborate.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test drive vehicles and components, using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed.
• Provide estimates of time and parts for additional repairs.
• Perform repairs under warranty according to manufacturer guidelines.
