Job summary

Toyota West Mobile is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to deliver high-quality diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle makes and models. You will perform work according to dealership standards, communicate effectively with the Service Advisor, and maintain a clean workspace.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Automotive Service Technician is required.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently.
• Test drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor for customer updates.
• Provide estimates for additional repairs as needed.
• Perform repairs under warranty according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Comply with all company policies and safety standards.

Job Summary

The responsibilities of a Automotive Service Technician include performing diagnostics, repairs, and other routine maintenance on various vehicle makes and models.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.




• Test drive vehicles and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.




• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.




• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be kept informed.




• Provide estimates of time and parts, as needed, for additional repairs.




• Perform repairs under warranty according to manufacturer guidelines and specifications.




• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.




• Comply with all company policies, procedures and safety standards.




• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Automotive Service Technician is Required.




• ASE Certification preferred but not required.




• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination.




• Good communication and customer service skills.




• Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively.




• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.




• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
