Job summary

American Trim is seeking a Heavy Truck Component Assembly Operator to set up and run manual and automated assembly equipment for semi-truck components. You will assemble, inspect, and change over equipment while supporting safety and quality standards on the line.

You will work with a team to meet production goals, perform basic troubleshooting, and ensure materials and work instructions are followed. Training is provided on the job for skill development and certification readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing/assembly experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn setup and operation of equipment.
• Basic reading and math skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Attention to detail and quality orientation.
• Effective communication within a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble heavy-truck components using manual and automated machinery.
• Set up, operate, and change over production equipment.
• Stage and organize components and materials for production.
• Monitor processes and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Perform quality inspections and document results.
• Communicate production or quality concerns to team leaders.
