Job summary

Stronghold is seeking an Equipment Operator (Heavy) to operate overhead cranes, move loads, and ensure safe, compliant work in a petrochemical/refinery setting. You will perform inspections, maintenance, and documentation while adhering to safety standards.

Ideal candidates hold NCCER/NCCCO certification and have 5+ years of crane experience, with willingness to travel across the United States as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and relevant crane/certification credentials.
• Experience with NCCER/NCCCO certifications is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in a related industrial/crane operation role.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead crane to lift, move and position loads safely.
• Inspect crane components; report defects to Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain crane and hoisting equipment; perform routine fueling and lubrication.
• Complete job tickets and paperwork; follow safety procedures and OSHA rules.
• Communicate clearly with team; adapt to project scope changes and travel.
