Job summary
SA Recycling is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of heavy equipment across electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. Responsibilities include keeping service records, ordering parts, and coordinating with yard leadership for timely maintenance.

Qualifications
- Vocational/Technical degree is highly desired.
- Hydraulic, electrical, and diesel maintenance experience highly desired.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
- Must be willing to complete and pass a drug screen, physical and background check.
- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conducts diagnostic, troubleshooting, and service/repair tasks for fuel, electrical, mechanical, brake, and hydraulic systems on heavy equipment.
- Performs routine maintenance tasks (oil/filters, lubrication, brake) on heavy equipment per manufacturer and company guidance.
- Maintains accurate service records on all work performed.
- Orders and maintains spare parts inventory.
- Coordinates with yard General Managers to schedule maintenance or repairs.
- Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly working area.
- Ensures proper use of vehicles, equipment, and tools.
- Adheres to SA Recycling safety and environmental practices.
