Main Purpose:

Impala Terminals Group facilitates the global trade of commodities by offering producers and consumers reliable and efficient access to international markets. Through its network of 30 strategically located assets and operations in 20 countries, Impala provides critical storage and logistics infrastructure services to energy and dry bulk customers around the world. The company manages two global businesses – Impala Energy Infrastructure and Impala Dry Bulk & Logistics - and is a joint venture between Trafigura, one of the world’s largest commodity trading houses, and IFM Investors, a global fund manager.

ITG is a joint venture between Trafigura and the IFM investment fund, owning and operating various assets such as ports, terminals, and multimodal logistics chains in export-driven emerging markets for both liquid and dry cargos. It also manages several assets owned by Trafigura under a management service.

To operate various types of mobile equipment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

General

• Safely operate mobile equipment in a terminal and marine environment, including congested areas such as ship holds and barges.
• Conduct pre-use inspection reports on all equipment.
• Lubricate and grease equipment as per OEM Manual prior to operating equipment.
• Ability to draft survey cargo barges.
• Work at elevated heights, over water, in all weather conditions, and overtime as needed.
• Adhere to all operational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Complete other tasks assigned by management.
• Engage in growth, learning opportunities, and cross-training.
• Share knowledge and experience for team development.

Compliance, Health, Safety, Environmental, and Security:

• Report all accidents, incidents, and near misses promptly.
• Follow all HSEC/Security policies and procedures.
• Ensure emergency equipment is functional.
• Report suspicious activity.
• Complete pre-employment physical and required training.
• Obtain T.W.I.C. credentials.
• Attend scheduled safety meetings.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years proven experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
