Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. is hiring a Machine Operator in Billings, MT. Base pay starts at $26.00 per hour to operate and set up heavy machinery for cutting, punching, forming, blocking and processing operations.

You will perform inspections, assist with inventory in the ERP system, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while meeting production targets. Full‑time benefits start on day 1 and include comprehensive health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pace – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication – Effective communication abilities.
• Physical Stamina – Ability to lift and move heavy items, often requiring the use of equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Attention to Detail – Ensuring orders are processed accurately and inventory is managed correctly.
• Organizational Skills – Efficiently organizing stock and maintaining a clean workspace.
• Teamwork – Collaborating with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage.
• Assist co-workers and customers.
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas.
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required to maintain proper operation.
