HireArt is seeking a Heavy Machinery Operator to safely operate 40-ton articulated haul trucks, excavators and bulldozers, and to support testing and feedback for hardware and software teams.

The role is full-time and onsite in Sunol, CA, with up to 5% travel. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of heavy machinery experience, a safety-focused mindset, and the ability to learn autonomous technologies while maintaining high safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of verified heavy machinery operation experience.
• Clean driving record (MVR) criteria.
• Ability to travel up to 5% for field operations.
• Interest in driver-assistance and autonomous technology.
• Ability to pass a background check and road test.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 40-ton articulated haul trucks, excavators and bulldozers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Support hardware and software testing with detailed feedback.
• Uphold safety and compliance standards and vehicle readiness.
• Travel up to 5% for field operations and testing.
