Job summary

Frank Myers Auto Maxx in Winston-Salem, NC has opened a NEW facility and is hiring at least one heavy line service technician for cars and light trucks. We are a family-owned business offering a self-paced work environment and room to grow.

We offer 40-hour weeks, no weekends, and top flat rate pay up to $50/hour plus production bonuses. You will diagnose, repair, and test-drive vehicles, collaborating with the service advisor to keep customers informed about needed services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Willing to submit to prescreen background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
